LL Antennestroommeter

De LL Antenne stroommeter meet de HF-stroom in beide lijnen van een kippenladder.

The LL-antenna current meter allows you to measure the HF current in both lines of a balanced open feeder system. The LL-antenna current meter can be used with high power transmitters (up to 10 Amp peak HF current), but can be set in high sensitivity mode for use with low power transmitters.

Up to five rows of LEDs (4x green, top is red) will light up, depending on the current, where the more rows and the brighter the LEDs lit, the higher the RF current flowing through your feeder line. If, for example, you have a current of 1.5A, two green rows are lit, but row 3 is not lit. At 10A all rows, including red, are lit and very bright (allowed only for a very short time!).

As the LEDs also become brighter with increasing current, itʼs a very handy tool to adjust your tuner for maximum RF current in the feeder lines. The currents in both lines are shown, so itʼs also easy to see if your antenna is properly symmetrical, which minimizes the effects of RF in other appliances.
